The 2023 Hohhot horse racing regular season opened in Inner Mongolia autonomous region on May 21, with contestants vying to earn points for the national match.

During the first round of racing, 38 riders competed in events such as the 1,550-meter, imported, four-year-old and above thoroughbred and domestic, 2-year-old thoroughbred racing.
