The Liangzhu site in Zhejiang province, dating back to 5,300-4,300 years ago, presents a regional early state form that was centered around Liangzhu ancient city and governed by a system of jade rites.
The Shanxi Museum will kick off an exhibit featuring Liangzhu’s history and jade culture on April 27. The various jade ware reveal this mysterious civilization and illustrate the spread of Liangzhu jade culture in ancient Shanxi. The exhibit will run through July 27.
