The Shaoxing Museum in Zhejiang province kicked off an exhibit of ancient inkstones on March 17. The history of the inkstones, which date from prehistory to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), is illustrated through the more than 600 inkstones of different shapes and materials on display. The exhibit will run through May 8.
