The modern Peking Opera Qu Yuan greeted the audiences at the Guangxi Dramatic Theater in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on March 22. The production is based on the life of Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet from the State of Chu during the Warring States Period (475-221 BC).
