Original Chinese ballet to be staged in Wuhan

The National Ballet of China will perform The Red Detachment of Women at the Linkonggang Grand Theater in Wuhan, Hubei province, on Sept 8 and 9. Premiering in 1964, the ballet is considered a milestone in China’s original ballet productions, offering a perfect fusion of dance from the East and West.
