Born in Beijing in 1987, Wang Yujia has established herself as one of the most promising young musicians of her generation. She began playing the piano at the age of 4 and studied at the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She took further studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Pennsylvania at age 15 and graduated in 2008.
Wang has performed in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
