Factory rushes to fill dragon boat orders

Zhuangtou village in the Shunde district of Foshan city is expecting its first dragon boat from Huang's factory. Previously, residents had joined people from other villages for dragon boat races.

"We have the wood, workers and orders. We are having a kind of peak. People's enthusiasm for dragon boat races has been fired up and the races this year may be very exciting," Huang said.

Dragon boat races are held around the traditional Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on June 22 this year.
