China Southern Airlines resumed its direct flight between Guangzhou, Guangdong province, and Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday.
It carried both passengers and seven tons of cargo, including garments, manufacturing parts and lighting products, which will be distributed to eight African destinations.
Nairobi is one of Africa's air hubs, and the resumption of the flight is expected to help advance the recovery of the international flight market.
