Nujiang prefecture is located in northwestern Yunnan province. Nature has created Nujiang into a magical region parallel to the water-flowing Jinsha River, Lancang River, and Nujiang Rivers. It has been known as a “natural museum of landforms” and a “gene bank of wild species.”
