Wu Menglin (1937-2022), a renowned female archaeologist, inscription expert and researcher at the Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum, passed away in the early morning of Dec 26 in Beijing, at the age of 85. Wu made great contributions to Beijing’s archaeological excavation, cultural relic protection and museum research.
