Marine Engineering

As an important shipbuilding and offshore engineering base in northern China, Qingdao West Coast New Area is home to more than 100 shipbuilding and marine engineering companies. The Haixi Bay Ship and Ocean Engineering Industrial Base is one of the four shipbuilding bases planned and constructed by the State, as well as a national newly-industrialized shipbuilding industry demonstration base and a national ship export base.
