Alshaa League records burgeoning industrial development

Located at the intersection of the Badain Jaran and Tengger deserts, Alshaa Right Banner – in Alshaa League, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – has been developing its local economy through its specialized eco-industries, according to reports in Inner Mongolia Daily.

The banner has growers cultivating commercial medicinal plants such as Cistanche deserticola, Cynomorium and Lycium barbarum. It has a supply chain integrating their planting, processing, production and sales.

In addition, Alshaa Right Banner was awarded the titles of Demonstration Banner of Sand and Grass Industry Development with Chinese Characteristics and National Under-forest Economic Demonstration Base.
