Theme park operator offers holiday treats

Domestic theme park operator Overseas Chinese Town has rolled out diverse cultural and tourism activities for travelers during the Nation Day holiday.

In its Shenzhen Happy Valley in Guangdong province, eight new experiences will be launched, including street magic, street dance and music festival.

Street art festivals featuring trendy fairs and electronic music will be hosted in Happy Valley parks in Beijing and Wuhan of Hubei province.

In Shanghai Happy Valley, a public chorus and an international fun festival will be put in place. Dancing gala and hanfu costume show will be held in Happy Valley in Nanjing of Jiangsu province and Xi'an of Shaanxi province, respectively.

Major domestic travel agencies have reported a strong trend of short-distance travel for the upcoming holiday, and OCT is aiming to spice up local travel experiences through its holiday arrangements.
