The Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) painter-calligrapher Chen Hongshou (陈洪绶) is known for touches of eccentricity and antiquity in his artworks. On Sept 28, the Shaoxing Museum in Zhejiang province launched an exhibit of Chen’s paintings and calligraphy. The exhibit will run through Dec 20.
