The dance drama Bronze Wares was staged in Xi’an, Shaanxi province on Sept 23 as part of the closing ceremony of the Eighth Silk Road International Art Festival. Against the backdrop of more than 3,000 years ago, the work sheds light on a legend of bronze ware casting and the establishment of the Western Zhou dynasty (c.11th century-771 BC).
