The Yueju Opera production Lu You and Tang Wan delighted audiences in Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi province, on Sept 20. A part of the ongoing 8th Silk Road International Art Festival, the play is inspired by the love tragedy between the famed Southern Song Dynasty poet Lu You (1125-1210) and his wife.
