The Jiangsu Grand Theater’s drama production Red Sorghum Family debuted on Aug 4, launching its national tour which will run till November. Adapted from the novel by Mo Yan, the Nobel Prize winner for Literature, the drama is a moving epic of three generations of families in East China’s Shandong province from the 1930s to 40s.
