An exhibit of palace lanterns from the collection of the Palace Museum was unveiled on July 1 at the Light Culture Center in Beijing. Lanterns and festoons used on celebrative occasions, such as birthdays, weddings and festivals, are on display. The exhibit will run until Aug 30.
