The Three Gorges Project Museum, the largest hydropower-themed museum in the world, opened on Aug 5. It is located at the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang city, Hubei province. The two-storey museum has three exhibit halls, showcasing the history and design of the Three Gorges project, as well as China’s hydropower development over the past 100 years.
