Sacrificial rituals play a significant role in the mysterious Sanxingdui culture. An exhibit illustrating the sacrificial scenes at Sanxingdui was held at the Shenzhen Museum on July 29. Some 15 artifacts used in sacrificial ceremonies, including bronze ware, jade ware and ivories, are on display. The exhibit runs until Oct 23.
