Fan Zhongyan (范仲淹) is a Song Dynasty (960-1279) official who set up a Confucius temple and school in Suzhou that benefited the city for nearly 1,000 years. The Suzhou Museum of Inscribed Stone Tablets is holding a rubbing exhibit of stele carvings from the temple and school. Nearly 70 pieces of works dating from the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) are on view. The exhibit ends on Aug 28.
