Goldfish were bred as pets to entertain the noble class since China’s Song Dynasty (960-1279). The Prince Kung’s Palace Museum launched a goldfish exhibit on July 25. It displays hundreds of beautiful goldfish of precious species in wood barrels and clay vats in its garden, and introduces their history and the culture of caring for this popular fish variety.
