The drama The Start of Autumn was staged at Rizhao Grand Theater on June 21. Produced by Shanxi Drama Troupe, the play tells the story of a Shanxi merchant family in the turbulent early 20th century.
Debuting in 2004, the drama has been performed more than 800 times in China and gained wide acclaim, dubbed as an outstanding cultural drama of Shanxi province.
