Adapted from the novel by Chinese literary giant Lao She (1899-1966), the drama The Yellow Storm will be staged at the Jining Grand Theater in Shandong province, on July 19 and 20. It illustrates the lives of regular folks in Beijing during the 1930s and 1940s era.
The play is a production of the National Theater of China.
