Representing the story of Xishi, one of the four great beauties in ancient China, the original production of Suzhou Ballet Legend of Beauty was staged at the Shaoxing Grand Theater on June 17. The work combined Eastern aesthetics and Western music, and dramatized the ancient Wuyue culture in eastern China.
