The modern Peking Opera production of The City Wall of Lady Han was restaged at the Chang’an Grand Theater in Beijing on April 8 and 9. The piece pays homage to Lady Han who led the defense of the Xiangyang city in Hubei in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420).
