Adapted from the classic novel by the French writer Stendhal (1783-1842), Le Rouge et le Noir will be staged at Qingdao Grand Theater on June 10 through 12. The drama is directed by Meng Jinghui, a famed Chinese artist known for his avant-garde productions.
