RIP! The much respected pianist Zhou Guangren breathed her last in Beijing on March 7, at the age of 94. One of the most influential Chinese pianists in the world, she played an important role in promoting piano artistry and dedicated her life to piano education in China.
Born in Hannover, Germany in 1928, Zhou is the first international award-winning pianist in China. She had taught in the Central Conservatory of Music since 1949.
