The Guangzhou Museum unveiled yesterday an exhibit of Dehua white-glazed porcelain dating back to the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. On display are 134 objects in its collection at the Zhenhai Tower, the main site of the museum. Objects in lustrously white glaze include Buddhist statues, furnishings, and utensils. Behold the beauty called “Blanc de Chine”! The exhibit ends May 25.
