The classic Huangmei Opera drama The Bygones of Huizhou was staged in Hainan Song and Dance Theater in Haikou, capital of Hainan province, on Feb 21. The opera depicts the complicated fate of the heroine and highlights enchanting folk styles of Huizhou, a region in today’s Anhui and Jiangxi provinces.
