Chinese zodiac ice cars

During the closing ceremony, 12 ice cars in the shape of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals came onstage, with children inside.

There are 12 zodiac signs in China: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. Each year is represented by an animal, in rotating cycles. For example, this year features the tiger.
