Located in Hangzhou, the China National Silk Museum is dedicated to collecting and conserving textile and costume heritage from China and abroad.
In 2010, the Key Scientific Research Base of Textile Conservation of National Cultural Heritage Administration was established at the museum, which facilitates the CNSM to continue its contribution to updating key technologies in conserving ancient textiles and costumes.
