Adapted from the novel by Mo Yan, the Nobel Prize winner for Literature, the Jiangsu Grand Theater’s drama production Red Sorghum Family will be staged on Aug 4. The drama is a moving epic of three generations of families in East China’s Shandong from the 1930s to 40s.
