Tangshan shadow puppetry of North China’s Hebei province was included in the national intangible cultural heritage in 2006. An exhibit is ongoing at the Beijing Luxun Museum to demonstrate shadow puppetry as theater art. More than 120 puppets, five sets of scripts and 28 records are on display.
