The Qingdao-Jinan (locally referred to as Jiaoji) Railway of East China’s Shandong province represents the history of Shandong railway since it began service in 1904. At its starting point, the Qingdao Jiaoji Railway Museum just opened its doors to the public on the last day of 2021. On the other end of the terminal is the Jiaoji Railway Museum in Jinan.
Together, the museums tell the fascinating stories of this century-old railway as well as the history of Shandong province.
