Located in Baoding, North China’s Hebei province, the Baoding Water Conservancy Museum was built on the former office of the local hydraulic management agency in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Now home to more than 500 pieces of cultural relics showcasing the history and influence of the local hydraulic industry, the museum opened on Dec 16.
