The Suzhou Ballet Theater created a fresh adaptation of the comedy ballet Coppelia with their own unique features in 2011 and brought it to the stage again at the Grand Theater in Suzhou Culture Center in Jiangsu province on Nov 5 and 6. Working with the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, they kept the original music by Delibes (1836-91) with its brisk melodies. Here come some highlights of the performances!
