Marking the start the 10th Qintai Music Festival based in Central China's Wuhan, a concert given by pipa master Zhao Cong and China Symphony Orchestra was staged at Qintai Concert Hall in Wuhan, Hubei province, under the baton of the conductor Li Xincao on Nov 2. It won great applause from the audience with passionate performances of works that included The Ode To Red Flag, Apsaras of the Silk Road and Yellow River Cantata.
