Zhangzhou nuclear power unit completes dome installation

Unit one of the Zhangzhou nuclear power plant, located in China's Fujian province and using China's self-developed Hualong One nuclear reactor, completed its dome installation on Wednesday, operator China National Nuclear Corporation said.

The installation of the dome, which will play an essential role in isolating nuclear radiation produced inside the reactor, is a milestone for the overall construction process of the Zhangzhou nuclear power plant, it said.
