Produced by the Yunnan Provincial Acrobatic Troupe, the acrobatic show Nie Er, shedding light on the life story of this great musician, will be staged on Oct 20 after two years of preparation. It features multiple difficult skills and fresh stage designs, aiming to create epic dramatic effects.
Born and bred in Yunnan province, Nie Er (1912-35) was the herald of the new music movement of China and was the composer of the March of the Volunteers, China's national anthem.
