Technology brings innovation! The classic Chinese opera The Red Guards on Honghu Lake was restaged at the Hanxiu Theater in Wuhan, Hubei province, on Sept 24. With a high-tech water supply system and lighting effects, the production provides audiences with a great immersive experience.
Produced in 1958, the opera tells the touching story of heroes who guarded the revolutionary bases of the Communist Party of China in today’s Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces.
