Let’s appreciate exquisite shells from the collection of the Qingdao Shell Museum! Located in the coastal city of Qingdao in Shandong province, the museum displays various shells from throughout history and around the globe, including shell coins from the Shang Dynasty (c.16th century-11th century BC), shell chips, shell stationery and Western shell carvings dating back over 600 years.
