BEIJING — China's publication authority has launched a campaign to collect excellent projects for promoting nationwide reading in 2021 and foster a sound atmosphere for the habit.
The campaign will select and recommend reading-related projects that focus on the centenary of the Communist Party of China and promote Party history learning and education, according to the National Press and Publication Administration.
Projects that can improve primary-level reading facilities and expand public reading spaces, and those that employ new technologies to explore multimedia and multi-platform reading will also be included in the candidate list.
