Lacquer carving is one of the Eight Marvelous Crafts of Beijing. Co-hosted with the Beijing Eight Marvelous Crafts Museum, the Shenyang Palace Museum in Liaoning province just launched a palace-themed art exhibition, where various kinds of lacquerware used by the Qing imperial palace are on display.
