With the Suzhou Museum’s western branch about to open late this month, the inaugural exhibition “Truly Jiangnan: chronology of Suzhou” is nearly ready for the public. The exhibition features over 1,200 items - including unearthed relics from local sites - and probes into the area’s cultural lineage while offering chronicle accounts of thehistory of Suzhou, which can be traced back 10,000 years.
