Thriving in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the Changsha Kilns in Changsha city, Hunan province were a renowned kiln complex firing daily-used ceramic products and were among the most important kilns for export porcelain products at that time. The brown glazed painted ewer with a poem design is a precious treasure from the collection of the Hunan Museum.
