Let’s have a look at a precious treasure from the Henan Museum! (Its pair is kept in the National Museum of China). Unearthed from the only intact royal tomb dating to the Shang Dynasty (c.16th century-11th century BC) at the Yinxu Site in Henan province, the ingeniously designed wine container bears a two-character inscription Fuhao, the name of the then queen of Shang and a denotation of the identity of the tomb’s occupant. It boasts high artistic and historical value.
