Thanks to high-definition projection mapping technology, artworks on the Mogao Caves have been unrolled in the exhibition space, which covers over 1,500 square meters.
According to Chang, the project offers a creative format, blending traditional Chinese culture with modern technology while promoting high art to the public.
Over 200 artworks created by Chang and other famous Chinese painters, which are replicas of frescoes in the Mogao Caves, have been added to the digital exhibition, which runs through Oct 18.
