The Palace Museum has rolled out many teacups as souvenirs, among them, this gift box containing four elegant white porcelain teacups feels unique.
The teacups were inspired by an item in the museum’s collection, a painting titled "Water Studies" by the Chinese master Ma Yuan (1140-1225) of the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The waves and ripples of Ma’s artworks have been beautifully carved into each cup.
