In addition to the catwalk show, the China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province also held hands-on activities to celebrate International Children’s Day. During the Children's Evening, kids learnt the story of ‘hanfu’ (the traditional clothing worn by the Han ethnicity for thousands of years) and techniques of silk reeling and weaving, and made patchwork and paintings related to traditional dress culture.
